Standard Governor and Associate Member terms are 4 years

Link Governor Responsibilities

Governing Bodies have general responsibility for standards of education so they need to keep themselves informed about what and how things are happening in school. To do this effectively, responsibility for different areas within the School Development Plan (SDP) is delegated to individual governors who then report back to committees or the full Governing Body.

These Link Governors talk to teachers(s) and other members of staff about their respective areas of responsibility. They act as a liaison between the Governing Body and the school. This is all done in relation to the SDP.
