Despite all the odds being stacked against us, I made it over to Colwall this morning to continue with the planned handover of the new school building. A bit of a glitch on the way, when my car had to be dug out of the snow in Mill Lane, but I eventually made it in one piece!
At around 1 o'clock today Herefordshire Council took possession of the new building and I was handed the keys!
WE HAVE A NEW SCHOOL!
Planned deliveries and work that were due to commence today unfortunately had to be cancelled although our ICT providers made it on site at about 2 o'clock and began work.
Our removal company was due to start relocating us tomorrow. They have now postponed this until Wednesday, leaving us three days to move!
The planned road closures on Walwyn Road and Mill Lane have now been postponed until next week (Monday 18th to Wednesday 20th). This will make it slightly easier for our removal vans.
We will get there... fingers crossed for no more surprises. I'm all challenged out now!
I will update you again tomorrow to confirm that we are able to open on Wednesday.
